Mahottarakila

The terrifying form of Mahottara Vajrakila, «the highest of the greats».

The drawing on silk in the old Tibetan style was made as an illustration for the book «The Overwhelming Hurricane» — a terma text discovered by Rigzin Godem (rig ‘dzin rgod ldem dngos grub rgyal mtshan, 1337-1408), which is a part of the so-called «Northern Terma» (byang-gter).
