White Tara

White Tara thangka is painted in the technique of «martan» (tib. dmar tan), on a red background and is dedicated to my Teacher — Chogyal Namkhai Norbu.

The aspect of White Tara is associated with protection and patronage, longevity and prosperity. The meaning of this image is the wish of Teacher for long years of life. A lot of White Taras on the background symbolizes that the long life energy is in every atom of the Universe and is brought to the Teacher.

Let the lotus feet of Victorious Teachers stand firmly on Earth!

This thangka was donated to Chogyal Namkhai Norbu in Dzamling Gar (Tenerife island, Spain) at the celebration of Losar, in February 2018.
