Goddess Sarasvati

Sarasvati (tib. dbyangs can ma dkar mo) — Goddess of sound, speech and music. Also she is spiritual spouse of Boddhisatva Manjushri and granting inspiration, wisdom as well as good memory, musical and poetic talent. Her another name is Vagishvari — the Goddess of the Speech.

Her Tibetan name Yanchema (tib. dbyangs can ma) points to her status as consort of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of the Great Wisdom. She is considered to be the patroness of the art, manifesting her talent in all forms of it. Buddhists revere her as a teacher of all the arts that grants practitioners all kinds of talents, as well as eloquence and wisdom.
